Secondary Language Support Lessons
Language support lessons sit beside the school timetable. We reuse classroom texts so students are not learning a parallel syllabus.
Focus
- Subject vocabulary as it appears in homework, not isolated word lists.
- Short spoken answers with a beginning and an end.
- Reading for the question that was actually asked.
Materials
Bring the current unit. If a text is not available, we use a public-domain piece at a similar level rather than inventing a fake textbook.
Progress
Progress is a task the student can now do unaided. We do not report invented fluency scores.
